B’More Aware – First Annual Event

The Partnership For Life approached Zedora to produce this promotional video for the first annual B’More Aware Event. The purpose of this event was to promote HIV awareness, as HIV continues to be an ongoing epidemic in the Baltimore/ DC area. Because of the inherent heaviness of this topic, the Partnership asked us if we could shoot this promo in the form of a fun music video.

The Partnership For Life is a collaboration of three of the largest non-profit organizations in Baltimore. Our greatest challenge in this project was to unify these three very distinct organizations in one video while highlighting the unique services that each organization offers.

To stay within budget, all of the performers appearing in this video are staff members and volunteers of the organizations. Everyone did a fantastic job dancing in this video under the guidance of the award-winning choreographer, Vincent Thomas of VTDance. We licensed the music of world-renowned artist David Guetta for this video. Local music producer, Jim Dickinson together with Debbie Jacobs Rock were granted permission to rewrite the lyrics to suit our cause. And Debbie Jacobs Rock sang our version of this song in an amazing studio performance.
